Live Q&A on End of Life Planning

Friends at the End are offering a live Q&A on end of life planning. We will be available to provide free information on end of life planning including Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Advance Directives.

Friends at the End, which is based at Kirkhill House in Newton Mearns, will hold an online webchat Q&A via their website (www.fate.scot) on Monday 29th March between 1 and 3 pm.

Staff will be available via a web-based chat app on the website to help with any concerns, or if people just need someone to talk to, as many of us will in the coming months. The charity also runs local groups throughout Scotland, hosts national conferences throughout the year and offers a free of charge, confidential counselling service for the public.

Chief Executive of Friends at the End, Amanda Ward, said: “As a charity, one of our aims is to provide information and education on end of life matters such as Advance Directives, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills so people know how they can put these plans in place and make the best use of living.”

“I hope people will visit our website at www.fate.scot and use our online chat function on Monday 29th March between 1 and 3 pm.  Our staff will be available to provide any information they can on issues we know can be difficult for people to talk about but which can really help put our minds at ease.”
