1:00 pm

Join researchers from the Philosophers’ Consortium on Assisted Dying in Scotland (PCADS) for a launch event and open discussion of their Statement in Support of Liam McArthur’s Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill.

As philosophers with research expertise in end of life ethics, as well as extensive first-hand experience with physicians, dying patients, and their families, the Consortium believes that Liam McArthur’s Bill represents a positive step to improve how people die in Scotland.

The public launch of the Consortium’s statement will be held at Paterson’s Land, Holyrood Road, EH8 8AQ on The University of Edinburgh Campus on Monday 22 May at 1.00-2.30pm (BST).

Panellists will include Prof Michael Cholbi (University of Edinburgh) and Prof Ben Colburn (University of Glasgow).
