The Dignitas experience: ‘It was all a bit scruffy, but it didn’t seem to matter’ Diana and I didn’t say much as we travelled to Switzerland that September day. All the decisions had been made; there was nothing really to talk about. Our minds were totally concentrated on what lay ahead. Diana’s cousin and his wife came with us and drove us up to Heathrow for the flight to Zurich.
