Thank you for telling us your story. Whilst stories submitted by members and supporters are often difficult to read, your experiences drive our campaign for assisted dying to be legalised.

Fighting for greater choice at the end of life is at the core of what we believe in and campaign for. In the absence of assisted dying legislation, we help citizens have a good death as much as possible within the current legal framework.

We want to see a Scotland where dying is approached in a more compassionate, dignified and equitable way. We are continuing our work in sponsoring the Cross Party Group on End of Life Choices in the Scottish Parliament. In addition, we are working to support our members with befriending and with help to make Advance Directives, Powers of Attorney etc. These services are all free of charge. We also have a counsellor available for those who would benefit from this service (free of charge).
