Besides AGM business, the meeting will have two speakers on the agenda.
First, we will hear from Josh Aaron-Mennie who currently sits on the National Executive Committee of the Scottish National Party (SNP). Josh will tell the group about the death of his grandmother earlier this year, and outline his vision for a change in the law on assisted dying.
Secondly, Professor Michael Cholbi, Chair of Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, will discuss his experience with assisted dying in the United States. Michael has only recently moved to Edinburgh from the United States, so let’s give him a warm welcome.
