Should we be concerned about dying people feeling that they’re a burden to their loved ones?
This week, the Scottish Parliament’s Health Committee heard from representatives of Dignity in Dying Scotland, Humanist Society Scotland, and FATE’s own Gillian MacDougall, who argued that legal assisted dying offers a safe and compassionate choice, providing vital reassurance to people nearing the end of life.
